For the exchange of ideas fostered by the Venice Architecture Biennale, just as important as the installations and presentations organized, are the people who organize them, and the encounters facilitated there, as as hordes of architecture professionals and enthusiasts descend upon Venice. As Peter Cook has once put it, “[i]f you love [the Biennale], it’s the best networking operation” as “[i]t saves a lot of time to come [t]here and bump into everybody.”
